My name is Ian and I am the owner of Touch of Glass, a family business. I spent 18 years serving as a firefighter in the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service and alongside this, 7 years ago I set up Touch Of Glass as a part time business. At the beginning of 2018 my wife and I welcomed our baby daughter into the world and I decided then that I needed a better work life balance to give my daughter the best start in life so I made the decision to leave the fire service and Touch Of Glass became my full time job.
I have truly wonderful customers and it is thanks to their continued loyalty that I was able to make this transition and for that I am very grateful.
This year 2022, has seen the return of my wife to the business as we gear up for our daughter starting at school in September.
